The Massilia Prakiti Orchestra (MPO)
13 days a year from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. at La Maison du Chant - 49 rue Chape, 13004
Polyphony and body percussion amateur group created in 2018.
Led by Caroline TOLLA and Barth RUSSO, this choirmaster duo explores the links between the body and the voice, in search of the extent of the sonic possibilities of these instruments. They refine over the years, a selected repertoire of world music, original arrangements and add compositions.
The MPO is a dynamic and spontaneous group which already has several concerts under its belt. active. This year, few new participants will be able to join the project, and only on maintenance.

Goals for the coming year:
* the show as a whole
* the body on stage
* address to the public
* interpretation
* rhythmic and melodic improvisation
* the acquisition of 2 new songs

- Pre-entry and registration: September 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
* in Spanish inn mode, everyone brings something to share (drink and eat)
1st trimester :
- Saturday and Sunday 9 and 10 October 2021
- Saturday and Sunday 20 and 21 November 2021
2nd quarter :
- Saturday and Sunday 29 and 30 January 2022
- Saturday and Sunday 26 and 27 Feb 2022
3rd quarter :
- Saturday and Sunday March 26 and 27, 2022
- Saturday and Sunday June 4, 5 and 6, 2022
Limited to 20 attendees.
Price: €160 / quarter ** i.e. €37 per day / €5.30 per hour

Percussions Corporelles au service de l’Impro Vocale
Stage animé par Nicolas Mahnich et Barth Russo.
Un snap par ci, un clap par là, eh en fait y a plein d’endroit sur le corps où l’on peut faire du bruit ! Et ça fait bouger l’ensemble de soi que d’aller chercher et enchaîner tous ces sons ! Les percussions corporelles, c’est comme jouer sur une percussion sauf que l’instrument sur lequel taper, claquer, frotter, glisser, effleurer, c’est notre propre corps. C’est comme une danse sonore, où le mouvement et la musique fusionnent, où le rythme s’incarne pleinement dans la matière.
