The Massilia Prakiti Orchestra (MPO)
Amateur group of polyphony and body percussion was created in 2018. Directed by Caroline TOLLA and Barth RUSSO, this duo of choir directors explores the links between the body and the voice, in search of the extent of the sound possibilities of these instruments. They refine over the years, a selected repertoire of world music, original arrangements and add compositions. The MPO is a dynamic and spontaneous group that already has several concerts under its belt.
On Sunday March 27, the group decided to do a charity concert for the association RESF and RUSF.
Here is an explanation of their actions:
Whether I am a minor or an adult, I live here, I study here, I work here = I have rights
Many of them sleep on the street, in squats or with solidarity workers, often waiting in vain for care by institutions. They, too many, are thrown into the street following a negative evaluation. They, pupils, students, apprentices (and their families) are prevented from living with dignity, from benefiting from quality educational support and from learning in good conditions. They suffer from this state of affairs simply because of their administrative situation and the lack of will of the competent authorities.
We do not accept this situation. Thanks to your generosity, we will be able to help and support the children, young people and their families we support to access their rights.
